1. Why that in Indonesia, TT vaccination should be given to woman who is getting married ?
The target of TT immunization not only for the bride, but for all child bearing age woman.
The aim of this programme is to eliminate the tetanus neontorum.
In Indonesia TT immunizations were given in several targets such as six grade of elemantary school girl,
at the time of getting married and at the prenatal care during pregnancy.
2. Does TT immunization also given to man (adult) ?
TT immunization also given to man. In Indonesia TT immunization in man is not in programme,
but usualy given to a man who has wound which at risk to tetanus.
3. Is there any maximum limit regarding the number of TT immunization ?
Since in Indonesia a woman can receive TT immunization several times, according to the age or special occasion.
DTP primary immunization can be conversed as 2 doses of TT. One more booster can protect at least 5 years from tetanus.
Fourth dose expected to protect the vaccinee for 10 years. Fifth dose will protect the vaccinee 20 more years.
So it's not the matter of limitation, but 5 doses of TT is consider to be enough for life protection.

1. Actually how many dose of OPV should be given to the new born infant ?
According to the Indonesia EPI 3 doses of OPV will be enough with the interval 1 month, which primed with one birth dose.
Totally 4 doses of OPV.
2. Is there any maximum limit of OPV vaccination for children ?
Actually there were no maximum limitation.
Especially in endemic country, several National Immunization Day should performed.
In India NID had been performed more than 40 times.
3. Was it true that there were several adverse events and deaths after the first NID in Indonesia ?
There were no adverse event that were reported after the NID in Indonesia that proved to be related to the quality of the vaccine.
But, because of the vaccine were given to all the chlidren below 5 years
4. If our child already received complete primary immunization for polio, is it necessary to follow the NID ?
YES. Eventhough your chlidren already received complete primary dose of OPV, they should received extra dose during NID.
Because the aim of NID not only to induce the antibody, but also to stop the virus circulation
