Committed to Implement Tax Rules, Bio Farma Presents 200 MSMEs in Education on Utilizing Tax Facilities in the Industrial Age 4.0

President Director of Bio Farma M. Rahman Roestan, is committed to applying tax rules to MSMEs, this was stated in a talk show with the theme "The Role of MSMEs on State Development in Utilizing Tax Facilities in the 4.0 Industry Era" at Bio Farma, Monday October 1^st, 2018.

The Head of Large Taxpayers Regional Tax Office, Mekar Satria Utama, Head of P2Humas Division, Raden Aris Handono, CEO of Perisai Grup, Ferry Tristianto and President Director of Bio Farma, M. Rahman Roestan, and Director of Finance of Bio Farma, Pardiman, presented at the event.

In his remarks, the Head of the Large Taxpayers Regional Tax Office, Mekar Satria Utama said, "The event was held as one of DGT's strategies to reach taxpayers through an end to end approach to micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) and expand taxation database in order to increase awareness and compliance in fulfilling the obligations and rights of MSME Taxpayers."

Meanwhile, M. Rahman Roestan in his remarks said "Bio Farma is committed to applying tax rules to MSMEs to increase MSMEs participation and mutual cooperation in the development of the country towards the state budget independence and utilization of tax facilities".

The event which was attended by 200 participants consisted of partners fostered by the Partnership and Community Development Program (PKBL) and Bio Farma employees who were entering retirement preparation (MPP) as well as several SOE Head of Tax.

One of the programs socialized in this event is BDS (Business Development Service). "This program is a guidance and supervision for MSME Taxpayers to encourage the development of their businesses in a sustainable manner, increase awareness, engagement, and create voluntary compliance,” R. Aris Handono, Head of P2Humas Division explained in his presentation.

While Ferry Tristianto, CEO of Perisai Grup said "The MSME should not enter the market, it is we who have to create the market," he added.
