This form of green industry has been proven not only by compliance with laws and regulations, especially in the environmental field, which is one of the nine points of company policy, but has gone further by applying higher compliance standards than those required by law (beyond compliance) in environmental management.

The implementation of pollution prevention includes air pollution control, reduction of liquid waste generation, reduction of waste generation, energy efficiency and water savings. This program planning is prepared for an annual program and a 5-year long-term program. The results of the identification of important aspects and impacts from each work unit are analyzed and then classification and program priorities are made.

Pollution control of the environment is carried out by carrying out management activities for liquid waste, solid waste, hazardous waste and air polluting emissions. The results of environmental management are monitored through environmental monitoring activities by independent laboratories in accordance with schedules and regulations (monthly monitoring for wastewater, quarterly for incinerator emissions, and semesterly for generator and boiler emissions). The results of environmental quality measurements are then compared with the quality standards set by regulations to evaluate the quality of environmental management performance.

Pollution monitoring is carried out routinely on 100% of the parameters set by rules and regulations. The results of pollution monitoring all meet the applicable quality standards and none exceed the threshold value of the established quality standards, even Bio Farma is a company that applies standards that exceed what is required by laws and regulations and other requirements related to environmental management (beyond compliance). This is evidenced by the acquisition of the gold proper predicate for environmental performance for the 2013-2014 period.

e-PPID is a means of service and provision of information online.

PPID is an official who is responsible for storing, documenting, providing, and/or serving information in the Public Sector and is directly responsible to the supervisor of PPID.

• Handling Information Requests via telephone, in person, letter/fax and email/website
• Applicant completes data on the Proof of Public Information Request form (TB PIP)
• PPID classifies the type of information requested
• PPID prepares answers, searches for the requested information and legal studies if necessary
• Submission of answers/responses and/or reasons for exceptions on the Proof of Response to Public Information form
• Submission of a postponement letter if time is required to obtain the information.
• If the applicant for public information raises an objection, he/she may submit an objection to the PPID.

Requests for information are free of charge. For applicants who require duplication of copies of information, the cost of duplication is charged to the applicant.
